Although dentures tend to be common among older people, the truth is that dentures are an effective tooth replacement for just about anyone. Here’s why.

Patient satisfaction is the foundation of our practice, and these kind words mean a great deal to us.
“This place is top notch! Lisa is the best dental hygienist I have ever had. I don’t normally have a strong opinion of healthcare professionals, but she really goes above and beyond to form a relationship with her patients and make sure they feel relaxed and comfortable. She is so warm and always happy. She felt like a trustworthy friend after just one visit!
My dentist was Dr. Bucker and the experience was always very pleasant. Thankfully, I didn’t need any actual work done so our time together was limited, but, if I did I would have 100% confidence in Dr. Bucker.
I recently moved out of the area and just had a terrible experience with one of those “chain” dental groups. I felt homesick for this dental group immediately. It is hard to find high-quality trustworthy healthcare. This place is definitely it.”
Oral Sleep Appliances – “I really wanted an effective alternative to a CPAP machine for my sleep apnea”
Unfortunately, patients who have sleep apnea are often still told that CPAP is the only effective treatment for their obstructive sleep apnea.
This simply isn’t true. Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines are effective, but they’re also extremely hindering. Many patients find that the machine is just too uncomfortable to sleep with. These patients often forgo treatment because they don’t realize there are alternatives.
A patient of ours was desperately seeking something better. “I really wanted an effective alternative to a CPAP machine for my sleep apnea,” he said. “I just couldn’t take it anymore.”
Fortunately, patients who suffer from sleep apnea can find relief that’s just as effective with oral sleep appliances. Oral sleep appliances are similar to a retainer, except they help position your jaw so that your airway remains open while sleeping.
This effectively eliminates the need to breathe through your mouth, therefore curbing many symptoms of sleep apnea. It can help stop snoring and dry mouth; but more importantly, oral sleep appliances stop you from waking up so frequently during sleep. This enables patients to receive a good night’s rest and reduce their risk of complications from sleep apnea.
“I’ve never slept better!” Our patient was so pleased with his treatment. “I’ll never go back to CPAP”.
Sleep apnea affects millions of Americans and often goes undiagnosed. This is because sleep apnea has symptoms that can mimic other disorders. From headaches and fatigue to mood swings and depression, sleep apnea might be tricky to diagnose, but it’s so important that you get a proper diagnosis. Besides the common symptoms of sleep apnea, here are some of the more unexpected symptoms that could mean you have this chronic sleep disorder.

We frequently see patients who have been missing teeth for years. These patients’ lives have been severely impacted by their missing teeth, and yet they don’t seek help for their smile. Some patients don’t realize that they could effectively replace their missing teeth without the use of dentures.
One patient found that dental implants were the answer she’d been looking for. “I hadn’t smiled in years because I was embarrassed of my teeth,” she shared with us. Her self-confidence was poor, and she was worried that her lack of teeth would continue to impact her image for the rest of her life.
After receiving multiple dental implants at our dental office in Johnson City, the results couldn’t have been better. The patient now smiles constantly and no one can tell that the dental implants are not her real teeth. That’s how seamlessly dental implants fit with your smile. Another important aspect of dental implants is their functionality: dental implants are the sturdiest replacements for your natural teeth out there.
The patient can now enjoy all the foods she did before she lost her teeth. Best of all, her confidence has skyrocketed because she feels how beautiful her smile is—inside and out.
